About the Role
The Head of Ecommerce will lead the company's online strategy, driving growth and optimising the marketplace. Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing the ecommerce strategy
- Identifying and capitalising on market opportunities
- Monitoring and reporting on business performance
- Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships
- Negotiating commercial terms and ensuring supplier compliance
- Leading trading strategies, overseeing promotions, and implementing pricing strategies
- Optimising the marketplace platform and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Leading data-driven decision-making, monitoring KPIs, and implementing predictive analytics
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have strong e-commerce experience, ideally within a marketplace setting. They will have a deep understanding of online retail and consumer behaviour, as well as strong commercial acumen and P&L responsibility. Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills are essential.
