Evie Barker

Evie studied for her Undergrad and Masters in Digital Marketing at University. She started her career in Social Media Marketing, working for one of Manchester’s news, events & food online publisher, Confidentials and working at one of Liverpool’s well known event organisation Sound City, in the Marketing department. 

Evie is our Agency Recruitment Manager here at The Candidate, partnering with a whole host of fantastic agencies from some of the largest global Marketing and Media agencies in the world such as to innovative start-up agencies with the aim to scale up with the best talent! Working with the likes of Social Chain, Group M and Open Partners. Evie specialises in marketing and digital media channels – including Paid Media, Programmatic, SEO, Digital PR, Social Media, AV, Affiliates, Influencer, Client Services etc. 

Evie works alongside hiring managers and talent teams to uncover their recruitment needs and provide industry insights, aiming for long-term fills not short-term fixes. Evie has expert knowledge in the face-paced nature of an agency, understanding the type of candidate that would fit best within your agency. She uses specialist headhunting techniques to source candidates with exceptional professional backgrounds and excellent culture fits - working with talented individuals from executive level right through to agency partner level.
