Laura is the Recruitment Board Director at The Candidate and, since joining over 10 years ago, Laura has worked with a vast majority of the businesses in the northwest and further afield. Previous to working at The Candidate, Laura was leading the northern digital account division at Mediaforce for 10 years. 

With over 20 years immersed in the Marketing, Digital and Media community, Laura’s network is second to none. Laura understands that partnerships and community is key and is a well-recognised face at many events and she was involved in the first board that created the now very successful Bloom North. Having won a number of prestigious awards including the Marketing & Digital Recruitment Awards Recruitment Consultant of the Year, Laura is passionate about offering sophisticated recruitment solutions many of which are grown on reputation and referrals.

Laura is our Executive Search Board Director specialising in C-suite and senior appointments across Digital, Marketing, Commercial and Media Sales nationwide. In recent years, a large proportion of her role has been spent working with Private Equity firms to secure talent into various portfolio clients engaging on very specific headhunts across the UK.

Laura prides herself in having the ability to find the perfect client-candidate match, taking into account more than just the requirements of the role, focussing on other areas such as personality and culture fit. Laura takes a diligent and consultative approach to finding the best talent, building and nurturing long-term relationships with both clients and candidates. Laura focusses a lot of her time on business development and client services, ensuring The Candidate maintains its continued growth, success and reputation.
